Forus Training has appropriate arrangements in place for the protection of learners on QQI programmes which have a duration of three months or longer, should Forus Training unexpectedly cease to provide such a QQI programme.
This applies to the following Forus Training programmes:
Horticulture Major Award (4M1994)
To comply with this, Forus Training has taken out insurance policies with Study and Protect which is underwritten by O’Driscoll O’Neil DAC t/a O’Driscoll O’Neil, StudyandProtect is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.. Study and Protect offers protection to students in two ways, firstly with cover for their fees, and secondly through an extensive auditing process for all colleges that are certified to offer Enrolled Learner Protection insurance to their students. The insurance policy will either place you into an alternative college to continue your education or refund the fees due back to you.
