How to apply for an Extension?
If a learner wishes to apply for an extension please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org before the designated submission deadline.
The Head of Certification will then reply to you via e-mail with an extension application form. Please check your SPAM folder as well as your inbox if expecting an e-mail reply.
The learner must then complete this form FULLY and return it to email@example.com before the submission deadline. The Head of Certification will process your completed form and either reply via e-mail granting or refusing the requested extension. Please note you do not have an extension until you have received a granted e-mail from the Head of Certification.
Any learner work handed in past the submission deadline without a prior granted extension, or any learner work handed in after the extension deadline will not be accepted for the QQI Assessment period and will be liable for a late submission fee (€100) before it can be processed.
I have completed some QQI accredited modules, how do I gain a Major Award??
If a learner has completed some modules with us or another QQI accredited centre and wishes to complete their Major Award please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with a completed list of modules and a copy of each achieved Minor Award.
The Head of Certification will then reply to you via e-mail outlining the next steps you will need to take in order to achieve your Major Award. Please check your SPAM folder as well as your inbox if expecting an e-mail reply.
Is there exam at the end of course?
Some courses have a written exam as part of the assignment brief. Click on the course you are interested in and then select the assessment tab to view the requirements for each course.
What happens happens if I miss my course examination?
In the event of learner unexpectedly being unable to attend their exam. Please contact email@example.com immediately to discuss the available options.
What QQI Level I will get?
We offer QQI courses level 3,4,5 and 6. If you require assistance please contact us.
Do I need Garda Vetting? How to I apply for Garda Vetting?
Many of our learners undertaking Early Childhood Care and Education modules will need to be Garda Vetted before starting their Work Experience.
The Garda Vetting process is as follows:
The office will apply for Garda Vetting on behalf of the learner. The learner will send a copy of photo ID to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will fill out the Garda Vetting invitation and forward to the Garda Vetting Bureau.
The fee for this service is €20.00 and is made payable to Forus Training.
Can I change my course?
Do I have access to tutor support throughout my course?
You will have access to support from your tutor by phone and e-mail. Your tutor will provide you with their contact details at the first session of your course. Your tutor can direct you to further supports available that we provide.
Students receive a comprehensive Induction, Course Manual, Assignment Brief, and one-to-one tutor support for the course duration.
What happens with my course if I get sick?
If a learner is unable to attend their course they are asked to notify their tutor by email to notify them of their absence.
In cases where a learner is unable to complete their course due to illness or other circumstances, learners are advised to contact Forus Training as soon as possible to explore available solutions.

I booked the wrong location, what do I do?
How can I find the course start date?
When viewing our courses, the course start date is shown on the right side under the Enquire/Enroll button. Also learners will receive all course details via email once enrolled.
Do you offer Manual Handling?
Yes. We provide Manual Handling training every fortnight in our Mullingar Training Centre. If you would like to book your place please click here to view available dates or to enquire.
If you would like to book Manual Handling Training for a group please contact us.
Do you provide a bus service to the course venue?
No. We do not provide a bus service to the course venue. If your course was arranged and funded by an agency, please contact them directly as they may be able to assist you.
Can I pay by card?
Yes! We accept all card types VISA and Master.
Payments are done via our secure partner Stripe.
Can I pay by installments?
Yes. To secure your place you need to pay a deposit of €100 (Please note this deposit in non refundable). The remaining balance must be paid in full before the commencement of your course.
