Recognised supplementary qualifications in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person provide students with essential knowledge and practical skills for careers as healthcare assistants, specialising in elderly care within community settings.
Graduates of these qualifications are well-prepared to start careers as healthcare assistants in homecare services. Additionally, completing these modules can help you progress towards earning a QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support or HSE Minimum Requirement.
Course Schedule
- These are evening courses with weekly online meetings (via Zoom) with the trainer from 7 PM to 8 PM.
- You’ll receive support from trainers and access the course content through a convenient and easy to use LMS system between your weekly meetings.
