Health Services Supervisory Management Skills (6M4978) is a QQI Level 6 Major Award made up of 8 minor component awards, combining for a total of 120 credits.
The purpose of this award is to enable you to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence required to work independently or in a supervisory role across a range of health services contexts — or to progress on to higher education and training.

This certificate is listed on the NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications), so it's recognised nationally and internationally — for further/higher education or employment in Ireland or abroad. Several Level 6 certificates, including this one, generally enable links to Healthcare and Social Care degree programmes — applicants should check current entry requirements with the CAO and the relevant higher education provider.

The full Major Award requires 120 credits. Three modules are fixed as mandatory, then you'll choose from two component groups plus one flexible top-up module to complete your credits.
