What is this programme?

The QQI Level 6 Special Needs Assisting (6N1957) is the qualification required to work as a Special Needs Assistant (SNA) in Irish primary and secondary schools. This is the highest-level SNA qualification recognised by the Department of Education.

Delivered fully online over 8 weeks, you'll attend live weekly Zoom sessions with your trainer every evening from 7–8 PM. Between sessions, you'll access structured course content through our LMS platform at times that suit your schedule.

Holding this certificate allows you to apply for SNA positions in both primary and secondary schools under the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) allocation model.
